BREAKING: Senior Akali Leader Resigns from Akali Dal; Blames Badals For Misusing Akal Takht Sahib’s Authority

AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—Striking a major blow to the Akali Dal (Badal), Akali leader Upkar Singh Sandhu has resigned from his post as well as the basic membership of the Akali Dal (Badal).   Sandhu’s resignation has come in protest of Guru Granth Sahib’s desecration cases across Punjab.

Upkar Singh Sandhu was the president of Urban unit of the Akali Dal (Badal) in Amritsar and was currently appointed as the Chairman of Punjab Energy Development Agency of Punjab.

In his resignation, he explained that the unholy incidents of desecration of Guru Granth Sahib across Punjab have sledgehammered his religious sentiments. He asserted that the exploitation of peacefully protesting Sikhs as well as the misuse of Akal Takht Sahib by the Akali Dal (Badal) has shaken his soul internally.

  1. Some Smart and Knowledgeable Sikh fellow got to find a right equation for the relation between these Six Sikh variables :–

    1) Sikh People — “x”
    2) Akal Takth — –“y”
    3) Akali Dal —— ‘z”
    4) SGPC ———–“a”
    5) Panj Payaras —“b”
    6) SGPC head —–“c”

My suggestion of the order of precedence should be

    “x—-y—z—a—b—c”

This will then Prevent confusion like these from ensuing.
