FARIDKOT, Punjab—At the behest of the Acting Detective General of Police, Iqbalpreet Singh Sahota, a First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against the Police contingents who opened gun-fire on the peacefully protesting Sikhs on October 14.
Two Sikhs Bhai Gurjit Singh and Bhai Krishan Bhagwan Singh of village Behbal Klan were killed in this firing, whilst over a hundred were injured.
Specific names of the Police officers in this case have not been disclosed yet. Whilst it is known that SSP Charanjit Singh was heading the Police party which began shooting at the protesters.

Yes – the police officers will get shifted to another area to create more mess somewhere else.

Unfortunately, nothing will happen since the two people killed were Sikhs. They’ll just get transferred to another area.
