Both Singhs of village Behbal Klan (Faridkot) were shot by the police�while protesting against the desecration of Sri Guru Granth Sahib in village Bargadi of District Faridkot. He informed that the Punjab government is facilitating medication to the injured Singhs.
Appealing�to�SGPC members not to resign in these tough circumstances, he said that the SGPC members should do their duties instead removing themselves�from their posts.
He appealed to�Sikh devotees to maintain law and order in the state�and�suggested local Gurudwara Committeesand societies should organize an Akhand Path Sahib on October 19 and lay its bhog on October 21, in order to mourn�the desecration of Holy Scriptures of Sri Guru Granth Sahib.
Emphasizing the need for tight security in local Gurudwaras, he appealed the Panchayats of villages across Punjab organize �Thikri Pehra� for 24 hours to keep the Holy Scriptures safe and to attempt to capture the miscreants�responsible for desecration.
