Guru Granth Sahib Beadbi: Senior Punjab BJP Leader Resigns – National Media Fails To Cover

:dateline:Senior Punjab leader Yudhbir Maltu has resigned from all posts in the BJP as a protest against on-going beadbi of Guru Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

Maltu is was a senior member of the BJP from Batala, and also worked as the General Secretary of the farmers wing of the party.

“I have submitted�my resignation as I am a Sikh and I cannot see the continued cases of beadbi in Punjab,” he told the press. �He expressed worry over the growing incidents in Punjab in which�angs�of Guru Granth Sahib were ripped. �He held the Akali Dal and BJP equally responsible for the incidents. �He condemned violence and firing upon peacefully protesting Sikhs by the Punjab Police. �He said that the anti-Sikh face of Akali Dal and BJP has been exposing by the incidents.

He said that BJP has continued to malign peace-loving Sikhs of Punjab by referring to them as radical. �He said that his consciousness doesn’t allow him to work under the BJP anymore. �He appealed to all other Sikhs to offer their resignation and join the protests.
