FARIDKOT, Punjab—In an attempt to extend condolences to the families of Shaheed Bhai Krishan Bhagwan Singh Ji and Shaheed Bhai Gurjit Singh Ji, the Sikh24 team visited village Behbal Kalan (Faridkot). The environment of the village was sorrowful, and the Shaheeds’ siblings were wailing loudly on the demise of their beloveds. Below is some brief information about the duo of martyrs.
Shaheed Bhai Krishan Bhagwan Singh Ji
Bhai Krishan Bhagwan Singh Ji was 45 years old and was very religious since the early years of his life. Several years ago, he had moved abroad to support his family. Bhai Sahib’s family is not well off, and his parents live by farming on land owned by others in the village. Despite his old age, Bhai Sahib’s father, S. Jaspal Singh, a school-bus driver has to work hard.
Bhai Krishan Bhagwan Singh Ji is survived by his two sons and daughter.
He was well respected in Fremont, California and was a regular Sevadaar (someone who does selfless service) at the Gurdwara Sahib.
Shaheed Bhai Gurjit Singh
Bhai Gurjit Singh was 27 years old. His family was currently in the talks to get him married.
Bhai Sahib worked as an electrician. His father, S. Sadhu Singh, and brother live in Kenya. During the protests at Kotkapura, he was said to have been serving langar (free food). Bhai Gurjeet Singh’s family members and friends described him as a very kindhearted person, who had a lot of desire to serve others. He often took part in serving langars, not only to Sikhs, but to all.
I hate the Punjab Govt.

This above comment is for yu butchers whosoever is resposible for these hatd- rending murders WAHEGURU tuhada bera garak karan
Yu have to face the wrath of GOD WHO “Sultana ghao karayda dar mangan pikh na payada , dar mangan pikh na payada “
This injustice this a criminal act, how can innocent civilians be killed for peacefully protesting. How can the government instruct police to shoot at innocent civilians, these officers are equipped with equipment to prevent them being hurt if pelted with rocks or even being shot however thr protesters have no means of protection. So why use guns to stop protesters that have never instigated any violence. This is discrimination against Sikhs and thr government wanting to put to thr end of Sikh preachers telling thr truth so Sikhs remains as slaves in a country they freed and never wanted anything in return. I assume you in the future Sikhs will be once again looked to helping establish freedom in India.
It’s the Indian government that are corrupt and want to bring Sikhism down. They deliberately set up biadhbee of SGGS ji and knew a peaceful protest would arise then they, as usual, shoot innocent protestors! The police are protected by the government anyway so they get away with this because they are all in this together! Not democratic at all! Separate Punjab from India and give them independence as this keeps repeating!!
