:dateline:Faridkot, Moga and Jallandhar villages have begun joining in the peaceful protest against the open destruction of �saroop (body) of Guru Granth Sahib ji two days ago in Kotkapura.
Sikhs far and wide have been expressing�upset at the police and authorities for taking no action after the event.
The police have responded�by blasting the peaceful protest with water cannons. The protesters then turned on the police, resulting in the police shooting and killing two and injuring around a hundred Sikhs.
News of the above has spread fast through Punjab and more and more people are venting their frustrations with further peaceful protests.
The Indian government has now sent in over 30 military vehicles filled with army personnel to Faridkot alone.
Villages in Barnala, Bathinda, Faridkot, residents of�village Tharaj (Moga), the village of Kular (Jallandhar) have all begun surfacing on social media pages, joining in the protests.

The upset shared by Sikhs throughout Punjab is strong and�as yet, officials have not responded in trying to assure Sikhs that the culprits behind the SGGS desecration�are being sought.
