BREAKING: Petition Moved Against Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa’s Detention and Force Feeding

:dateline:Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa’s son Ravinder Jeet Singh Gogi today moved a petition against the Punjab administration for illegally detaining and force feeding his father at the PGIMER in Chandigarh. It is notable that the administration has fully isolated Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa from his supporters. �Gogi has not been given permission to meet with his father.

Speaking with Sikh24 about the High Court petition, Gogi informed that the petition will likely�be considered�by the court�tomorrow. “After the appointment of a judge on the petition, the high court will issue a notice to the police and the administration on the matter,” he added. He expressed hope that he might be allowed to meet Bapu Ji following the notice by the court.

It is notable that Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa was admitted in the Advanced Cardiac Department at the PGI Chandigarh on September 27 by police contingents led by SSP Ravcharan Singh Brar. �As Bhai Ravinder Jeet Singh Gogi disagreed to his father being force fed,��the administration isolated Bapu Ji from him.
