:dateline: Only a day after the controversial decision to pardon the dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim by the Takhat Sahib Jathedars, the movie entitled MSG2 has now been released in Punjab.�
The movie had not been banned in Punjab but had initially been blocked by cinema owners, due what they claimed was indirect pressure and threats being mounted on them by the Punjab government to hold off from playing the movie.
Many are reading between the lines now and seeing the yesterday’s�pardoning as a political manoeuvre�in authorising the movie without a public outcry.
Strong resentment and shock has been voiced from all quarters of the panth (nation) as what they describe as Jathedars being used as pawns by the ruling party under Parkash ‘S’ Badal to fit in with their political agendas yet again.
