:dateline:Guru Gobind Study Circle and Oberoi Educational Trust has jointly announced to launch a Scholarship scheme to aid financially weak Gursikh students studying in classes ranging 6th to 12th.
Confirming the development, Deputy Chief Secretary of Oberoi Education Trust S. Ajinderpal Singh informed �Sikh24� that the amount of Rs. 3 lakh will be distributed among students belonging to intelligent but financially weak families. Students who secured 60% marks in annual exams and with family income less than Rs. 1.5 lakh will be eligible to be participate in the psychometric test going to be conducted to shortlist the candidates.
He added that the test will be held across Punjab on October 11 and the qualified students will be granted endowment of Rs. 6000/- each to pursue their education.
