:dateline:Three sets�of Sri Guru Granth Sahib saroops (entities) were reportedly found burnt during the dawn of September 17 at 4am,�in the Gurdwara Sahib of village Rudisar in Fatehgarh Sahib . The news spread in adjacent villages resulting huge gathering of Sikhs at the�Gurdwara Sahib.
Confirming the incident, SGPC member Karnail Singh Panjoli informed �Sikh24� that when the appointed Granthi Singh entered Gurudwara Sahib during dawn at 4am, he found three holy scriptures burnt. He asserted that the cause of fire was electric short circuit in the old fan installed in the room.
�New’ saroops�of Sri Guru Granth Sahib will be issued for Gurudwara Sahib tomorrow and the burnt ones will be brought to Goindwal Sahib for cremation according to Sikh traditions he added.
