Jalandhar, Punjab—Bhai Mardana Memorial Kirtan Darbar Society has given a call to the Sikh devotees to submit their Passports before August 25 to get visa for celebrating the 546th birthday anniversary at Sri Nankana Sahib. The President of the society informed that Guru Nanak Dev’s birthday this year will be celebrated on November 25.
The occasion of Guru Nanak Dev’s birthday is renowned as ‘Nankane Da Mela’ in Pakistan. The Society organizes 10 days trip to Sri Nankana Sahib each year. The trip facilitates Sikh devotees to pay obeisance at Gurdwara Nankana Sahib, Gurdwara Sacha Sauda, Gurdwara Panja Sahib, Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib, Gurdwara Rodi Sahib, Gurdwara Dehra Sahib Lahora, and other historical Gurdwaras in Pakistan.
