Delhi, India—A court in Delhi has set 14 August to hear a case in which the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had filed a closure report, giving a clean sheet to Congress leader Jagdish Tytler for his role in a 1984 anti-Sikh Pogroms case.
The court had earlier asked the CBI to respond to allegations that Tytler had allegedly tried to influence a witness by giving him money and sending his son abroad.
The case relates to the 0riots at Gurdwara Pulbangash in North Delhi where Tytler is accused of killing three people on November 1, 1984 after the assassination of Indira Gandhi.
The CBI claimed Tytler was not present at the Gurdwara during the riots and that he was at Teen Murti House.
Tytler’s role in the case was re-investigated by CBI after a court in December 2007 refused to accept it’s closure report.
Tytler continues to deny any role in the massacre of Sikhs that took place in November 1984.

The people who are responsible for the atrocities committed are in charge of the country. The CBI is essentially also run by them. They have to be taken out of power, otherwise the guilty will not be punished as the guilty are investigating themselves in any inquiry. India is not a free country, its a tyranny and the people need to wake up or more repression will continue
