DASUWAL, Punjab—Sikh sangat will held a religious program and Kabaddi Tournament at village Dasuwal in commemoration of 23rd martyrdom anniversary of Babbar Khalsa’s former chief Bhai Sukhdev Singh Babbar who attained martyrdom on August 9, 1992. Baba Darshan Singh shared this information with ‘Sikh24’ after finalizing the schedule with Panthik bodies in a meeting.
He informed Sikh24 that following the bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib, Ragi and Dhadis will delight the Sikh devotees with religious discourse. Families of martyred Singhs will be rewarded with mementos and Siropao. Kabaddi matches will start in the evening at 5pm.
Jathedar Baldev Singh (Chief of Akhand Kirtani Jatha), Bhai Gurpreet Singh Khalsa (Sikh Relief), Bhai Bhupinder Singh Bhalwan (German), Bhai Pargat Singh Dasuwal, and Bhai Amarjit Singh Daduwal and others were present on this occasion.
