:dateline:Punjab Government has deployed police in great numbers outside Hassanpur and in other major towns across Punjab. �Along with headquarters of Damdami Taksal (Ajnala), police is present in Hassanpur in great numbers. �Fire brigades are also present there, which suggests that police might use force to break into the residence of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa at any time.
Earlier, 5 Sikhs were arrested from Hassanpur village. �One of them is Meetpal Singh from Australia, while another is Bibi Balwinder Kaur Basra, a US Citizen from Washington DC who had arrived at Hassanpur last night to inquire about Bapu Ji. �These Sikhs have allegedly been taken to the Mullanpur police station.
