NEW DELHIāIn the case of deceased Surjit Singh who was murdered during the 1984 Sikh genocide, the Delhi Court has fixed August 5 to record prosecution witnesses. It is notable that in this case, the court had framed charges of murder and rioting against Sajjan Kumar, Brahmanand Gupta, Peeriya, Khushal Singh and Ved Prakash in July, 2010.
Newly appointed District Judge Kamlesh Kumar has put the matter of recording evidences on August 5.
One of the accused culprit is said to have died and the CBI has also confirmed his death to the court.
