:dateline:Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa�s health condition is very critical and administration is trying to take him in its custody to hospitalize him. So far, the administration has failed in its bid. �Yesterday, two senior officials failed to persuade Bapu ji and his supporters in this regard. Bapu Ji firmly refused to go to hospital for medical checkup.
The whole situation has turned tense as Police have put up barriers on all the roads going to village Hassanpur to stop the sizable gathering of supporters in the village. Bhagwant Mann and Bhai Jarnail Singh (Delhi MLA) today met Bapu Ji however wife of Sikh political prisoner Prof. Davinderpal Singh Bhullar was stopped at the barrier and not allowed permission. � Any�persons who are suspected to be supporters of Bapu ji are not allowed to even enter in the area.
Meanwhile, the Police authorities have claimed that there is no tension and situation is under control. They argue that the barriers have been installed for general precaution.
Led by Satkar Committee leader Bhai Sukhjit Singh Khosa, supporters of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa have�threatened to self immolate in case the police tried to abduct�Bapu Ji. �These Singhs are currently present at Hassanpur, guarding against any forceful entry the police.
It is worth mentioning that Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa is on hunger strike since January 16 seeking permanent release of Sikh political prisoners who have completed their terms. �These prisoners have been languishing various jails of India for decades.
