:dateline:National Human Rights Commission has summoned the Indian union government for manacling the Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara�while presenting him before court.
The commission has taken action on the plea of advocate of Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara, in which the advocate argued that manacling Bhai Hawara is violation of orders of Supreme Court.
Acting on the petition, the commission has asked the Director General of Police (Prison) to present his report.
It is notable that photos of Bhai Hawara in manacled condition were�submitted to the court in petition.
