In the presence of prominent Sikh personalities including Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji (appointed Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib), Giani Ranjit Singh Ji (Head Granthi, Gurdwara Raqab Ganj), Giani Sukhjinder Singh Ji (Granthi, Sri Harmandir Sahib), Baba Baldev Singh Ji said that all the Gurdwaras of their sect follow the path enlightened by Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, but the prior name was giving illusion that our sect did not adhere to the ideology of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

“That is why; we have decided to rename all the branches of sect,” added Baba Baldev Singh Ji. He appealed the Sikh masses to unite under the one Kesri Nishan Sahib.
