President of SGPC Jathedar Avtar Singh Makkar and Jathedar Giani Mall Singh today inaugurated the newly installed parshad counter sponsored by S. Jagdish Singh and his family.

ad counter cost Rs. 13 lakh.� SGPC President Avtar Makkar said that the seva was done by a family from Mukerian.� He appreciated the efforts by S. Jagdish Singh’s family for spending Rs. 13 lakh on this counter.
Secretary Manjit Singh, Additional Secretary Paramjit Singh Saroa, Satinder Singh Gurbachan Singh, Gurbachan Singh, Partap Singh, Manager Partap Singh, Kulwinder Singh Ramdas, Information Officer Jaswinder Singh etc. were present on this occasion.
Why the donor wasted money. What is benefit of sangat and SGPC for digital Karah prasad. It would be better if this money is invested for Dharam Parchar among poor by providing literature/education/medical facilities. Sikhs should not waste money for donations to SGPC they are misusing GURU KI GOLAK for BADAL politics. SIKHO OPEN YOUR EYES.

I was wondering the same thing. What exactly, is a “Digital Parshad counter” with “advanced technology”? How is it any better from what we’ve been using since the time of our Gurus?
It would have been better to simply donate the money to honest Sikh charities, such as Sewa84 and NeverForget84, that are making a real difference in the lives of Sikhs.
I hope I’m wrong, but I get the feeling that the donor was basically “buying influence” from the ruling corrupt Badal family.
