:dateline:Former MP Rajdev S �Khalsa� who has recently joined controversial Hindu fascist force RSS�s wing �Rashtrya Sikh Sangat�, on Wednesday, said that base of the RSS body would be spread in Malwa region and its chapters would be opened on block level.
Rajdev who was appointed as incharge of the body in Malwa region few days ago, shared his views with media persons in detail. On being asked about facing deep fury over the decision from Sikhs across the world, he questioned that those people who oppose the RSS should explain him as to when the RSS remained as anti-Sikh outfit.
�When Sikhs were massacred in 1984 in Delhi, RSS organized relief camps for victims. �Rashtrya Sikh Sangat� is purely nationalist in nature, but it recognizes Sikhs as separate nation�, he said. However, he remained silent over the religious edict issued by Sri Akal Takht Sahib, highest temporal seat of Sikhs, to forbid Sikhs from having any kind of relationship with RSS and its wings.
During the talk with reporters, he also raised issues of separate identity of Sikh religion and release of Sikh political prisoners. On the other hand, Sikh intellectuals said Rajdev�s recent support to these causes is quite meaningless as the body is working since many decades to incorporate Sikh religion into Hinduism.
