PATIALA, Punjab—In view of growing crisis of pure drinking water in Punjab, Germany based Sikh leader Bhai Gurmit Singh Khanyan has donated reverse osmosis (RO) system which purifies the water, to Sikh political prisoners in maximum security jail of Nabha (Patiala).
As per information shared by human rights activist Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur, earlier Bhai Khanyan donated submersible tubewell to government school of village Dona Nanaka (Fazilka) and RO system to prisoners of the same jail in April 2012. Now again, he has donated another water purifier to the jail which will not only be beneficial for Sikh prisoners but for all prisoners and jail employees.
The Sikh detainees Bhai Lal Singh Akalgarh, Bhai Harminder Singh Mintu, Bhai Pal Singh France, Bhai Makhan Singh Gill, Bhai Dilbag Singh Bagha, Bhai Balbir Singh Bira, Bhai Rattandeep Singh, Bhai Ramandeep Singh Goldy, Bhai Harminder Singh Ludhiana, Bhai Darshan Singh Mukaronpur, Bhai Jagmohan Singh and others thanked Bhai Gurmit Singh Khanyan for rendering service.
