AMRITSAR SAHIB—Sikh Youth Federation Bhindranwala today conducted a ‘Ghallughara Remembrance March’ in alliance with Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) and All India Sikh Students Federation (Peer Mohammad) to pay tribute to the martyrs of June 1984 holocaust.
The march commenced from Gurdwara Santokhsar Sahib and concluded at Sri Akal Takht Sahib. Hundreds of party workers of participating bodies took part in this march.
AISSF President S. Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad appealed the SGPC to boost their efforts to demand the rare manuscripts from Indian Army which were looted by them during June 1984.
Praising the work of SYFB (Amritsar) S. Harbir Singh of SADA said that his party is impressed from this organization’s recent work.
President of SYFB (Amritsar) Dr. Gurjinder Singh said that the motive of this march is to pay tribute to the martyrs of the holocaust of June 1984. “Our organization is committed to the last utterances of Sant Jarnail Singh Khalsa Bhindranwale and we will keep on struggling till the establishment of the Sikh Sovereign state” he added.
Despite heavy rain, hundreds of Sikh activists participated in this march. Bhai Kulwinder Singh Khanpuri, Bhai Gurdeep Singh Goldy, Bibi Manjit Kaur (Eknoor Khalsa Trust), Bhai Jagmohan Singh Shant, Bhai Satnam Singh Kot Khalsa, Bhai Amrik Singh Nangal, Bhai Charnjit Singh, Bibi Dalbir Kaur etc. were the prominent among the present Sikh activists.
