He asked other Sikhs to do the same across Punjab in order to give a fitting response to the Shiv Sena and other organizations who are against Sikhs commemorating the 1984 Sikh genocide martyrs.

Bagicha Singh who was recently released by the Punjab Government has suffered much from the state oppression.� However, he is now working on various humanitarian aid projects.� Bagicha Singh was�one of the first volunteers to reach Nepal.� He worked hard to reach remote areas and provided relief items to the displaced Nepalese.
