Jammu & Kashmir—Today, a police constable ripped a picture of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale from a poster from the Rani Bagh area. The news spread quickly in nearby areas and Sikh youth in large numbers gathered on spot. A scuffle later took place between the Sikhs and the police.
The constable responsible for ripping the picture was made to apologize as he faced growing wrath of the Sikh youth.
Following this incident, Sikhs in large number also blocked the highway completely and installed an even larger board with picture of Sant Jarnail Singh Khalsa Bhindranwale and upcoming June 6 Shaheedi Smagam poster.
Sikh Sangat of Jammu sent a clear message that they will not allow any further atrocities and disrespect to shaheeds of the Panth.
Any slogan against nation by any group in any part of the country should be crushed with iron hand without any discrimination.

Aur sab ka Thanks karne ki bajaye tumahari govt. 1984 mein sikhon ko tabah karne ki liye plan banati hai ki GOLDEN TEMPLE aur sabhi GURUDWARE destroy kar diye jaayen aur koi sikh nahin bachna chaiyeh. Isliye Sant bhindrawaale ne hatiyaar uthaye the Golden Temple aur kom ko bachane ki khatir. Jab kisi kom par aati hai toh phir woh nation nahin dekhti. Tumahara Nation khokhla ho chuka hai. Jo bas apni man mani karta hai.
