Bapu Surat Singh’s Morcha: First March to be held on May 25 From Akal Takht Sahib

Vishal MarchAMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—To strengthen the struggle initiated by Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa for permanent release of Sikh political prisoners languishing in various jails of India, Sikh organizations are carrying out a march on May 25 on a large scale. The procession will be the part of new programme announced on Friday by Sangharsh Committee which is leading the struggle.

The March will start from Sri Akal Takht Sahib and passing through Beas, Jalandhar, Fagwara and Ludhiana etc. it will be concluded Hasanpur (Ludhiana), village of Bapu Surat Singh. Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnala of Damdami Taksal (Ajnala) is playing main role in conducting this march.

As per the programme schedule, next marchs will be held from Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib (May 27) and Takht Sri Damdama Sahib Talwandi Sabo (May 29). All these processions will be concluded at village Hasanpur. The committee has also announced to jam the railway traffic on Delhi-Amritsar track on May 31 from 12 PM to 2 PM.
