MOGA, Punjab—Just days after the Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal had announced that Orbit buses will be removed from operating in Punjab, a number of their buses have been spotted on roads.

Punjab Deputy Chief Minister had to announce the removal of buses due to a recent molestation and killing of a 14 year old girl that took place on an Orbit Bus.  Sukhbir had promised that all Orbit employees will have to go through re-training before the buses are brought into operation.

The molestation of 14 year old Arshdeep was highlighted heavily in media, and it has become known as the Moga Kand.  During the incident, the 14 year old girl, along with her mother were molested and then later thrown out of the moving bus.  Arshdeep passed away due to injuries, and her mother is in critical condition.

It is important to mention that Sukhbir Badal is the owner of Orbit buses, which operate under the registration of Orbit Aviation PVT LTD.  At first, the Badal family had refused to accept that they were owners of the buses, however later after media broke the story, they had to give a statement accepting blame.
