AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—On his Punjab tour, fascist Hindu political leader and president of the BJP, Amit Shah today visited supreme Sikh shrine Sri Darbar Sahib (Golden Temple). During his visit, the SGPC authorities honoured him with ‘siropao’. BJP Punjab unit president Kamal Sharma, national secretary Tarun Chugh and Punjab minister Anil Joshi accompanied him.
Besides ‘siropao’, SGPC secretaries Roop Singh, Manjit Singh and Balwinder Singh Jaurasingha and Sri Darbar Sahib Manager Partap Singh also presented model of Sri Darbar Sahib and a set of religious books to Amit Shah.
Talking to media persons, Shah said that Darbar Sahib was a holy place where people from all religion
come to pay obeisance and get the blessings of the Guru. He said that he had also come to seek blessings of Sri Guru Ram Daas ji.
Presenting holy ‘siropao’ to the head of controversial and infamous party which is working on incorporating all other religions into Hinduism and turning India into Hindu nation is its sole motive has been questioned. Particularly, Amit Shah is closest aide of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is alleged accused for massacre of Muslims in Gurjrat happened in 2002.
