Canadian Students Organize 2nd Annual “Turban Pride Day” In Winnipeg

:dateline:The Indian Cultural Club of Red River College organised its 2nd�Annual��Turban Pride Day�. �Students of the club organized this event to focus on history, culture, and reasons why the turban is an�important�element of the Sikh identity.
�
Members of the club gathered outside the�library of Red River College assisted many non-Sikhs in tying turbans. �They also explained the historical importance, and provided them refreshments and delicacies for free.
�
This day was fun-filled and educational. Over 600 students took part in turban tying.
�
Turbans were tied on all students, irrespective of their gender and age.
