:dateline:Thousands of Worldwide Sikhs today reached Takhat Sri Damdama Sahib to celebrate Vaisakhi. �Devotees had to wait for a long time to get their turn to have sacred bath in Sarovar of the Gurudwara Sahib.
All the Gurudwaras were decorated very beautifully by the sevadars.
Langars in large numbers were organized by devotees residing on the way to Takhat Sri Damdama Sahib. Special buses were also hired to facilitate transportation of pilgrims from Bathinda to Talwandi Sabo.
A day before Vaisakhi, Sikh Organizations also held a protest march against Parkash Badal and demanded release of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa and his son Ravinder Jeet Singh Gogi. �The march was attended in large numbers. �Protesters carried Nishan Sahibs and wore keski and black dastars to raise awareness of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa.
