Entire Country Should Observe ‘Delhi Fateh Divas’ As a National Day – Delhi Gurdwara Committee

NEW DELHI—The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee has announced to celebrate the ‘Delhi Fateh Divas’ every year and has demanded from the Government to declare this as a “National Day”. It is noteworthy that under the leadership of Sardar Baghel Singh, the Sikh Misls terminated the Mughal Rule from Delhi in 1783.

President of DSGMC, Manjit Singh GK demanded the Indian Government to celebrate the “Delhi Fateh Divas” as a National Day.  A Kirtan Darbar was held on March 21, along with an exhibition of historical Sikh artifacts.  GK said that a great feeling of joy has been observed across the Sikh Sangat with these programs.

Number of prominent Sikh kirtanis, including Bhai Balbir Singh (Shiromani Ragi) and Bhai Baldev Singh Wadala took part in singing Gurbani kirtan.
