:dateline:Sikh nationalist political party Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) has announced to field Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee member Jathedar Surjit Singh Kalaboola as its candidate in Dhuri by-elections.
A meeting was held in this regard at residence of Jathedar Kalaboola which was attended by several party workers and leaders. In absence of party president Simranjit Singh Mann, former MP Bhai Dhian Singh Mand led the meeting. Mann�s son Iman Singh Mann, Prof. Mohinderpal Singh, Barnala unit president Jathedar Ranjit Singh Sanghera, Sangrur president Harjit Singh etc. are also present here.
All welcomed the candidature of Surjit Singh Kalaboola who is known as social worker in his respective area and has been elected as SGPC member twice from Dhuri segment.
