Sri Anandpur Sahib, March 15: The Budget Sub-Committee which was appointed by the President of the Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhik Committee; �held a meeting today at Takhat Sri Kesgarh Sahib under leadership of Senior Vice President Raghujit Singh Virk, Junior Vice President Kewal Singh Badal, General Secretary Jathedar Sukhdev Singh Bhaur, Executive Member S. Rajinder Singh Mehta, S. Nirmal Singh Johlaan, Secretary Roop Singh and Satbir Singh, Additional Secretary Ranjit Singh, Diljit Singh Bedi, Manager Gurwinder Singh Grewal, Vice Secretary Jagir Singh and Managers of other Gurdwaras also�participated in this meeting.
General Secretary of SGPC Jathedar Sukhdev Singh Bhaur said that last years budget of SGPC was Rs. 886 Crore, which is expected to exceed Rs. 1000 crore this year. He said that the turnover trend of all the Gurudwaras and Educational Institutions have been analyzed. After analyzing the budget the final report will be submitted to the President. Jathedar Bhaur said that this time preferences will be given to complete the on going�projects instead of launching new ones.
Reliable sources have informed that Rs. 2 Crore will be kept reserved to celebrate the Establishment Ceremony of Sri Anandpur Sahib and to organize other religious ceremonies.
