:dateline:After having ended his hunger strike on February 12, Vikram Singh Dhanaula has remained admitted at the local hospital. �His hunger strike of�65 days caused�severe medical conditions, for which he�is seeking medical treatment.
Vikram Singh had campaigned for the 1984 Sikh genocide victims and sought punishment for the culprits. �His hunger strike�ended after the newly elected Delhi Government gave a written assurance to form SIT�for 1984 Sikh Genocide cases.
Earlier today, members of the Sikh Relief team, including�Parminder Singh and Bagicha Singh Wariach went to visit Vikram Singh�and his family. �Sikh Relief stated that “Vikram Singh has two young children and being the only breadwinner, his absence has meant the family faced a struggle of their own.”
Sikh Relief has�financed all the tests and check-ups that Vikram Singh has had in hospital. �They promised to provide the necessary medical aid as needed. �The UK based Sikh humanitarian organization has also arranged a welfare package to help his wife with the children’s education and running the household while Vikram Singh is seriously ill.
