BATHINDA, Punjab—Punjab Police presented Bhai Jagtar Singh Tara and his companion Bhai Amarjit Singh in the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Gurpreet Singh at Bathinda, where the Magistrate ordered to send Bhai Jagtar Singh Tara to Patiala Jail due to insufficient evidence against him. The court extended the remand of Bhai Amarjit Singh for two days on the request of Punjab Police.
Massive Police Force was appointed outside the court before presenting Bhai Jagtar Singh Tara and Bhai Amarjit Singh. As soon as the S.P. Des Raj, DSP Sukhdev Singh, and Gurdarshan Singh brought Bhai Jagtar Singh Tara and Bhai Amarjit Singh in court, various leaders of Sikh organizations, including Baba Hardeep Singh, Baba Satnam Singh Dialpura, Bhai Gurwinder Singh Bhucho Mandi, Bhai Surinder Singh Nathana, Bhai Gurmail Singh Dialpura, Bibi Sukhwinder Kaur loudly shouted the ovations of ‘Khalistan Zindabad’.
Police remained unsuccessful in presenting any recovery from Bhai Tara during his last remand. By accepting the request of advocates of Bhai Tara, Magistrate ordered to send Bhai Tara to Patiala Jail till 26 February.
On the other hand, police has requested court for remand of Bhai Amarjit Singh in concern of transferring fund to Bhai Ramandeep Singh Sunny, who was arrested on November 9, 2014. Sikh present during the hearing said that the police has filed fake cases against these Singhs, if there would have been any truth behind these cases, the police might have presented the evidences to court.
