AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—The commemorations of Shaheed Bhai Hardev Singh Rocket, Shaheed Bhai Bakhtavar Singh and Shaheed Bhai Kulwant Singh Varpal took place with full Khalsa spirit at Khoo Bhai Manj Gurdwara.
The Varpal family were fully supported by Sikh Relief and the day began with Amrit Kirtan by Hazoori Ragi Darbar Sahib Bhai Gurkirat Singh, followed by Dhadi Singh and Kavishari Jatha who reminded the sangat about the sacrifices of these brave Sikhs who had laid down their lives for the Sikh Nation.
Bibi Parmjit Kaur Khalra, Bhai Balwant Singh Sira, Sikh Relief volunteers Bhai Parminder Singh, Bhai Bagicha Singh Varaich and many other Panthik organisations attended and gave their views and thoughts to the Sangat. Twenty Shaheed families were recognised and honoured at the event. This chardi kala event finished with the families thanking Sikh Relief UK for their support in ensuring all their needs were met for the event.
