Bapu Surat Singh’s Hunger Strike Concludes 20 Days, Doctors Advice Medical Treatment

LUDHIANA, Punjab—As per recent reports by doctors, Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa’s health has started deteriorating. A team of doctors visited him today to perform various tests.  The tests revealed that his blood sugar has risen to an abnormal level, while there is also a vital fluctuation in blood pressure.

The doctors advised Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa to take necessary glucose to cover the damage in his body, but he has refused to take any type of medical treatment. Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa said that as soon as his body will get weaken, his spirituality will start shining.

While talking with Sikh24 correspondent, Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa quoted the wording of Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale, “Physical death I don’t fear, death of conscience is sure death.”

Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa said that he is firm to his path and will continue his hunger strike till the permanent release of Sikh detainees. He said that Sikhs are slave in India and to come out of this slavery, Sikh nation would have to do a lot of struggle. He said that our enemy is quite clever in political dealings. He explained the examples from his own experiences when the Indian Government crossed every parameter of atrocities to suppress the Sikh demands.
