He has appealed to the Prime Minister by writing a letter to him. He has urged the Central Government to take quick action on the reports submitted by the former Judge of Supreme Court Justice PP Mathur to Home Minister Sri Rajnath Singh last week. The former Judge has asked the Central Government in his report to organize a SIT for the investigation of theSikh Genocide of November, 1984. S. Badal said that the 45-page report of Justice PP Mathur explains that thereis so much evidence regarding the massacresof November 1984 which the Government has ignored. So, the organization of a SIT is necessary for investigating these ignored incidents.
He claimed that there were lots of incidents that were closed by Delhi Police and were not reported in court. S. Badal also expressed the need for reinvestigation of incidents in which Sajjan Kumar and Jagdish Tytler are accused.
It is noteworthy that the Central Government appointed a committee in the leadership of Justice PP Mathur to get detail for the need of organizing the SIT for investigating the Sikh Genocide incidents of November, 1984.
