The Akali Dal (Badal) has also accepted that the competition is going tough this time because of Aam Admi Party. Senior Leader and General Secretary of Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) S. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, Senior Vice President Ranjit Singh Brahmpura and Member of Raj Sabha Sri Naresh Gujral is given charge for all the four seats. Beside it, Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema and Gurcharan Singh Channi, Paramjit Singh Sidhwan, etc. are given the responsibility of Election Offices. S. Harinder Singh Bhagowal, S. Mandeep Singh Rajeana and Gurdev Singh will be helping them in it.
Shiromani Akali Dal is fighting the election only on the seat of Rajauri Garden this time. Akali Candidate S. Manjinder Singh Sirsa is fighting election from this seat. Shiromani Akali Dal has appointed Bikram Singh Majithia, Bibi Jagir Kaur (President, Akali Dal (Ladies Wing)), Jathedar Avtar Singh Makkar (President, SGPC), �Sarwan Singh Filaur, Sikandar Singh Maluka (Rural Development Minister), S. Gulzar Singh Ranike, and Janmeja Singh Sekhon in this seat.
Jathedar Avtar Singh Hitt is Akali candidate from seat of Hari Magar. Senior Akali Leader Balwinder Singh Bhoondarh, Maheshinder Singh Grewal, Balwant Singh Ramuwalia, Cabinet Minister Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, Member Parliament Sher Singh Ghubaya, Onkar Singh Thapar and MLA �N.K Sharma are appointed by Shiromani Akali Dal in this assembly election seat.
S. Harmeet Singh Kalka is candidate of Akali Dal from the seat of Kalkaji. Shiromani Akali Dal has appointed Cabinet Minister Surjit Singh Rakhra, Prem Singh Chandumajra, Jathedar Ujagar Singh Badali, Bibi Satwant Kaur Sandhu, Harpreet Singh Malot, Gurwinderpal Singh, Hardev Singh Dhanoa etc in this seat.
Similarly, in the fourth assembly seat of Shahdara Former Minister Sewa Singh Sekhwan, SR Kaler, Prem Kumar Mittal, Joginderpal Jain, Surjit Singh Kohli etc. are appointed by Shiromani Akali Dal in this seat.
