Simranjit Singh Mann: Jathedar Nandgarh’s Suspension is Extra Judicial

FATEHGARH SAHIB, Punjab—Activists of Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) have protested against the decision of the Executive Body of SGPC for suspending Jathedar Balwant Singh Nandgarh from his post. The activists of this body protested with ovations outside the meeting venue of the executive committee. Activists also tried to hinder the car of SGPC president Avtar Makkar, but the police and task force of SGPC didn’t let their efforts become fruitful. After this the activists continued protesting outside the meeting hall in the leadership of S. Simranjit Singh Mann.

After attending the meeting, Avtar Makkar received a memorandum from the protesting activists by meeting them in person. Party President Simranjit Singh Mann, Dhian Singh Mand, Jaskaran Singh Kahan Singh Wala, Karnail Singh Narike, Prof. Mohinderpal Singh, Ranjit Singh Cheema, Randev Singh Debi, Harbhajan Singh Kashmiri, Kuldeep Singh Bhagowala, Gurjant Singh Kattu, Shingara Singh Badla, Dharam Singh Kalaud, Kishan Singh Slana, Kuldeep Singh Pehalwan, Swarn Singh, Saroop Singh, Saroop Singh Bandha, Gurdeep Singh Deepa and Gurminder Singh etc. were present on this occasion.

S. mann said that the executive body of SGPC doesn’t possess any legal right to terminate the services of Jathedar Balwant Singh Nandgarh. S. Mann said that the struggle will be commenced against the decision of executive body of SGPC for suspending Jathedar Balwant Singh Nandgarh.
