Bhai Harminder Singh Acquitted in Case of Carrying Explosive Material

LUDHIANA, Punjab—Bhai Harminder Singh, who is detained in maximum security jail Nabha, on Monday was acquitted by the court of additional session judge Jaspinder Singh in the case (2007) of carrying explosive material.

Bhai Harminder Singh was presented in the court amid high security arrangements. Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur participated in the hearing as legal counsel on his behalf. Bhai Harminder Singh was arrested in 2010 in connection with the case.

Talking to Sikh24, Advocate Manjhpur said that no explosive material had been found from Harminder Singh and police could not succeed in connecting the material found from a car with him. He further said that Bhai Harminder Singh has been acquitted in 7 cases including this case and only a single case is pending against him in Ludhiana court.

During the production, Bhai Sahib’s wife Bibi Rajwinder Kaur and daughter Sidak Kaur were present in the court.
