Sirsa Cult Impotency Case: High Court Refused Request to Stop CBI investigation

2013-07-30-ramrahim3CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Punjab and Haryana High Court has denied to stop the CBI investigation against the Sirsa Cult for making hundreds of cult devotees impotent. Chief of High Court Justice SJ Vajeefdar and Justice AJ Maseeh held the first debate on the appeal of Sirsa Cult against the decision of the singular bench of high court. Sirsa Cult Management demanded that the CBI investigation should be stopped.

Sirsa Cult presented the excuse that if Hans Raj Chauhan was made impotent more than one decade ago, then why did he not make accusations before this point? The Cult said that Hans Raj Chauhan took too long to present his side is too long, so it appears that some external agencies are working behind him. They said that the decision of the singular bench of Justice K. Kanan is against the Indian Constitution. They said that Justice K. Kanan has said in his decision that making someone impotent is a crime, but on the other side the Indian Constitution favors gender transformation. An advocate of Sirsa Cult said that they don’t support any act of making someone impotent, repeatedly forcing the bench to stop the CBI investigation at least until the next debate.

But the court gave a clear cut refusal to the urge of the Sirsa Cult. It is noteworthy that CBI has recently started an investigation against Sirsa Cult following the instruction from court’s decision of 23rd December. CBI has filed an FIR against Sirsa Cult Chief under Articles 120B, 417, 326 and 506 of the Indian Constitution. CBI will submit its first status report to court on 2nd March. But the court will hold the next debate on 25th February.
