:dateline:Sikh preacher and chief of Sarbat Da Bhala Sewa Dal Baba Daler Singh Khalsa Kheri Wale said Sikh devotees of India and abroad are expressing deep concern over the newly changed dates of Gurpurabs. He appealed to the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib not to perform any editing on the basic Nanakshahi Calendar and implement it quickly. He said that the issue of the�Nanakshahi Calendar has created a huge division within the Sikh community.

He said that anti-Sikh powers always remain eager to instigate the sentiments of the�Sikh community. Under this agenda, they keep on performing anti-Sikh activities. But the government doesn�t pay attention to trace out and punish such elements. Explaining the tragedy of burning the holy scriptures of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in Jodhpur village near Tarn Taran, he said that the accused culprits of this tragedy are wandering with naked heads in Tarn Taran. He said that the�Sikh community would have to decide about its future; otherwise we will go on deteriorating day by day. Bhai Davinder Singh, Bhai Baljit Singh, Bhai Pargat Singh, Bhai Jalwinder Singh, Bhai Manjit Singh and Bhai Balwinder Singh (President Truck Union, Sangrur) were present on this occasion.
