“The Government will take suitable actions according to the reports submitted by this committee.” He said that whatever happened in Delhi during November, 1984, was a purely pre-planned attempt to perform genocide of the Sikh Community. He said that by providing money to the victim families, we can’t heal their injured souls. But it is the just an attempt of Government for expressing its sympathy towards the victims. “We are doing our best to punish the accused culprits of this genocide,” he added. He said that he fully trusts the Indian Judiciary and the victim families will get justice soon.

He requested the victim families to depict their complaints to the newly organized committee without any fear. 17 victim families were granted cheques of Rs. 5 Lakh each, during this program.

Victim ladies of this Genocide Bibi Amarjit Kaur and Bibi Bakhshish Kaur said that money can’t replace the eagerness to get justice, so the government should readily take initiative for punishing the accused culprits. It is noteworthy that the Central Government organized a committee for investigating the Sikh Genocide of November, 1984. This newly organized committee will submit its report within three months.
