AJNALA, India—Sikh Youth Front celebrated the 24th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Bhai Satnam Singh Changiada in village Kotli of Ajnala with the assistance of Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) and Akali Dal Panch Pardhani. Bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib was laid in the memory of the departed souls of the martyred Singhs. After the ardas of Sri Akhand Path Sahib, Bhai Papalpreet Singh acts as a Stage Secretary.
Bhai Papalpreet Singh told the families of Sikh martyrs to save the photos and articles of martyred Singhs. He explained an example about the care of anti-Sikh Congress elements that they have given to save articles of their leaders. He explained that Congress workers has saved the last blood wetted costume of Indira Gandhi and last torn clothes and shoes of Rajiv Gandhi. Bhai Papalpreet Singh said that it is sad that the some families of our martyred Singhs don’t even have photos of them.
Dr. Sharanjit Singh Rataul (President, Sikh Youth Front) strictly condemned the Modi Government Policy of converting the religion of poor people by offering them money. He said that minorities should become aware about saving their existence.
S. Amrik Singh Nangal (District President, Amritsar (Rural)) paid homage to the martyred Singhs of Sikh Movement during his speech.
Families of more than 50 martyred Singhs were rewarded with Siropas by the leaders of Sikh Youth Front. Family members of Shaheed Bhai Satnam Singh Changiara were honoured with special a present by Sikh Youth Front.
