CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Divya Jyoti Jagran Sansthan and Ashutosh’s son remained unsuccessful in getting ‘status-co’ on the decision of Punjab and Haryana Court. Both filed a petition against the Court’s decision in Divisional Bench of Punjab and Haryana High Court. A panel consisting of Justice Surya Kant and Justice Rajmohan Singh took a brief glance on the case and appointed the next assembly on 15 December, 2014.
Advocate S. P. Soyi on behalf of Dilip Jha urged the court to immediately take back the decision of lower bench of High Court and to order the post mortem of the dead body of Ashutosh. Dilip Jha has been constantly saying that Ashutosh was murdered by the management of Noormehal Cult for the sake of money and post. He has demanded the court to perform a post mortem of Ashutosh’d dead body so that the truth behind his death can come out. Senior Advocate Satpal Jain on behalf of Divya Jyoti Jagran Sansthan urged the court to delay the cremation of the dead body of Ashutosh. At the same time, Punjab Government also submitted an appeal for the correction in the same court.
The panel of Divisional Court postponed the next assembly to 15th December, 2014. Court also expressed that after listening to all sides, it will order ‘status-co.’
