Hoshiarpur Sikh Student Told to Leave Classroom for Wearing Turban

sikh_students:dateline:The Principal of the Environment of Saint Joseph School situated on the Hushiarpur-Chandigarh road,�ordered two turbaned Sikh students out of class.

When the parents of these students were informed about this, they attempted to talk to the Principal, but after�seeing his irresponsible behaviour�they informed the police about this.

Youth Leader of Mahilpur S. Jaspreet Singh informed that his son Karanpreet Singh Bains belongs to Canada and he came in India to pursue his studies. In the morning, his son informed him on phone that the school Principal didn�t allow him to attend assembly by�using his turban as a�reason. Later, during the first period the�Principal also�told�him to get out of the class. When the parents reached school to meet Principal,�he didn�t talk to them. Then the parents called the police. Inspector of Punjab Police Sri Prem Kumar reached the school with a heavy police force. The Principle�confessed�his mistake and allowed the students to attend class.
