His co-accused and fellow inmates at Burail Jail, Lakhwinder Singh and Gurmeet Singh, have already come home on a month long parole, but Shamsher Singh�s application had not progressed. �
Therefore, Sikh Relief met with SSP Hardial Singh and DC Varun Ruzam at the Patiala Deputy Commissioner�s office and got the application approved and sent onwards to the jail authority. Shamsher Singh will now be able to return home for his daughters wedding in a few weeks time and fulfil his role as the father of the bride. Our team headed straight for the family home to personally deliver the good news. Shamsher Singh�s family were delighted and expressed their gratitude to Sikh Relief and the Sangat for standing by them and following this matter through to conclusion.
