Sikh Activist Meets Haryana Chief Minister for Reinvestigation of Hondh Chillar Sikh Massacre

:dateline:Manvinder Singh Giaspura, who is struggling�in providing justice to the victims of the Hondh- Chillar�Sikh massacre, today met Chief Minister of Haryana Sri Manohar Lal Khattar along with the victims of this massacre and asked for the start of a re-investigation�into this massacre. Sri Khattar promised for extending the validity of Garg Commission, so that the re-investigation of this massacre can be started again. Advocate Barjinder Singh Loonba was also present during this meeting.

It is worth mentioning that Manvinder Singh Giaspura was an Engineer in a company in Gurgaon and was suspended for exposing this massacre of Hondh- Chillar.�

Pertinently, on November 2, 1984, the entire Hondh- Chillar in Haryana village was burnt down along with its Sikh population. The village consists of torched houses, a burnt Sikh shrine and scattered human bones had been discovered in February by Sikh groups.
