:dateline:Khalra Mission Organisation and Punjab Human Rights Commission have appealed to all Canadian�Sikhs, to boycott funeral ceremonies of ex-DSP Gurmail Bai. �The funeral is scheduled to take place tomorrow in Canada where Bai moved after later years of his retirement, to live with his son.
Both human rights organizations have labelled former DSP Gurmail Bai as�a criminal.
A joint press release states that Bai worked under�KP Gill, a senior Punjab Police officer responsible for murders of tens of thousands of Sikhs. �”He falls into the same category in which the butcher Sumedh Saini, Izhar Alam, SS Virk, Swarn Ghotna etc. are considered,” stated Harmandeep Singh Sarhali (President, Khalra Mission Organization), Spokesperson Satwinder Singh Palasaur, Chaman Lal, Jagdeep Singh Randhawa and Kirpal Singh�jointly.
�DSP Gurmail Bai murdered innocent Sikh youth�and tortured many more�in police custody.”
“Government kept Gurmail Bai working in torture centers even after his retirement,� they added.
Khalra Mission Organisation and the Punjab Human Rights Commission stated that “true tribute to the innocent Sikh youth�killed in fake encounters will be boycott of the funeral ceremonies of DSP Gurmail Bai by all Sikhs living in Canada.”
