MANDI DABWALI, Haryana—Sikhs of Haryana are continuously protesting against Patron of Shiromani Akali Dal and Chief Minister of Punjab, Parkash Badal, under the banner of Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (HSGPC).
A protest march was organized from Village Oddan and wandered through Sikh populated areas. Sikh leaders of Haryana shouted slogans protesting against Chief Minister Badal and President of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), Avtar Makkar. They also pasted posters and banners protesting against Badal on walls in a number of towns and villages.
Member of Haryana SGPC Sant Gurmeet Singh, Jasvir Singh Bhati, Jeet Singh Khalsa, Malkit Singh Khalsa and Mahant Shiva Nand lead this protest march. This road show reached Dabwali by wandering through Jalalaanaa, Jagmalwali, Maseeh, Tigrhi, Hassu, Naurang, Chatha, Desu Yodha, Panniwala Moreeka, Jogewala, Mangiana after its start from Oddan. The protesters declared Badal and Makkar the biggest enemies of Sikh community.
They said Chief Minister of Haryana Chaudhary Bhupinder Singh Hudda awarded the feelings of Sikhs of Haryana with respect by giving them their rights. But Badal and Makkar are opposing their rights, due to which there is an annoyance amongst Sikhs of Haryana. They said they aren’t dealing with Badal, instead they are answering him very mercilessly. In a special introduction, S. Jasvir Singh Bhati said, in 1966 Parkash Badal pawned the Sikhs of Haryana to Chautala Family for his personal benefits, under much planned conspiracy. They said Sikhs of Haryana would not tolerate it anymore. They cordially thanked the Congress Government of Haryana operating under the leadership of Chief Minister Chaudhary Bhupinder Singh Huda and declared to assist them in this assembly election. They said it is sure that Congress government will also win election this time; Congress benefitted every class of society in Haryana. So, the people of Haryana fully trust Congress and will vote for them.
